Made from a blend of different Mercurey terroirs totaling 7 hectares, the wine is a good introduction to the straightforward, rustic charm of the appellation. The diversity of the domaine’s terroirs allows Meix Foulot to produce a consistent, harmonious wine year in, year out.
Tasting Note: Deep and dense red berry, wet clay moving to stone fruits, forward mid-palate fruit, quite smooth and elegant, light and pleasant sappiness in mouthfeel, finishing with a light rustic note that is frim but approcachable (Antonio, Burgundy Buyer, on 10/29/24)

A distinctly earthy and overtly sauvage nose speaks of plum, dark cherry and softly spicy nose. The solidly voluminous and velvet-textured medium weight flavors that coat the palate with sappy dry extract on the youthfully austere, long and well-balanced finale.
