This wine was made to celebrate the solar eclipse on its path of totality over Hye in 2024.

A mass freeze in February and hail in May reduced fruit quantity significantly, yet a cool summer yielded exceptional quality and balance in the remaining grapes.
Tasting Notes: Surprising and gorgeous! Somewhere between silk and velvet, with loads of plum puree and notes of thyme and tarragon. The wine takes you on a ride, from an exploding perfume to creamy texture to tart through-line and a touch of warmth on the finish from medium alcohol. This wine does not need food to be enjoyable, but will pair well with the main course. Try prime rib!
Winemaking: All components went through a separate 48-hour cold soak before fermentation in large format oak fermenters. Aged in 15% new French oak barrels and 85% neutral oak barrels for 30 months
