Liquid Farm Description
Our very first vintage, 2009, was a mere FOUR barrels; two of which became "Golden Slope" and the others "White Hill". In 2011, we began producing our Rose and introduced another Chardonnay. In homage to that first vintage, and since this was the FOURth wine in our portfolio, we opted to name our flagship "FOUR".
This wine is produced utilizing only the most compelling barrels from the vintage. Aged for 18 months in 20% new French oak this wine continues to be the "show-stopper" it was in 2011.
Rich and round with subtle notes of brioche, lemon peel, vanilla, hazelnut, and saline. The acid is fresh and vibrant, leaving you yearning for another sip. While still very youthful, we recommend either decanting or putting this away in your cellar for a number of years. Anticipated maturity is 2024-2030.
