The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is packed with sweet red juicy fruit with hints of raspberry and a touch of baking spices. The mid pallet is elegant with medium weight. Vibrant juicy bright fruit and acidity with well developed tannins carries it to a long finish.

Drawn from the family's original vineyard planted in 1985, the 2019 SMD Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain offers up hints of bay leaf and sage, plus ample cassis fruit. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it lacks the richness of the Reserva, but it is a silky, elegant effort for drinking over the next decade or so.
