The Domaine produces high quality wines spread over 4 appellations, including 3 world-famous Grand Crus from the Southern Rhône Valley: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
The originality of Domaine de la Jaufrette lies in the fact that it offers red wines for aging, offered to the consumer after maturation, allowing the terroir to express itself, and the wines reveal all their character and finesse.
Tasting Note: Red color with brilliant garnet reflections. Fresh nose of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), slightly peppery and cocoa. Red fruits, such as raspberry and strawberry, are present on the palate, accompanied by black cherry. The attack is lively, the tannins are round but present and persist on the finish. A peppery note is found in this long, robust and fine Vacqueyras.
