Domaine de la Folie Description
This walled vineyard occupies the northeast facing slope in front of the house. The current 4.7 acres of Chardonnay were planted in 1972 and share the clos with two parcels of Aligoté, a parcel of cassis, and a small orchard of cherry trees. This is raised entirely in tank.
Domaine de la Folie has a very special soil as it is much more like Cotes de Beaune vs Cote Chalonaise where they are located. They are on the far Northern edge of the appellation and are closer to Bouzeron than the rest of Rully.
