Domaine de Givaudan Description
David, started Domaine Givaudan in 2001 when he purchased 20 hectares of vineyards around the village of Cavillargues specializing in Côtes du Rhône and “Vin de Pays” appelations. He has chosen to acquire vigorous vineyards with very specific terroirs (clay & limestone), and generous sun exposure producing grapes rich in aromas and texture. David is a sustainable farmer whom likes to blend traditional and modern winemaking technics. We are very pleased to bring you the wines of a young, talented and promising Winemaker. This Côte du Rhône is named “La Bête” a er a mythical Rhône beast “Givaudan” that terrorized the Rhone Valley
Tasting Note: Subtle notes of plums, black cherries, violets with hints of black olives, licorice and spices. Very pleasant and silky texture with well integrated tannins. Great balance!
