Domaine Vocoret et Fils Description
Domaine Vocoret & Fils, located near the town of Auxerre, is the epitome of a hands-on, family-owned estate. For five generations, the Domaine has been passed down from father to son, with numerous uncles and cousins working at the estate. The strong feeling of dedication and close family relationships has allowed them to adapt throughout the years, each generation applying modern techniques that has promoted innovation in Chablis. The Fôret represents 3.7 acres in vineyard production.
Tasting Note: Bouquet of oak, buttery, spun sugar, floral, ginger and white smoke. On the palate, ginger, mirabelle plum, lemon drop, apple butter. Creamy, complex with a jolt of acidity mid palate. Rich and powerful.

A slightly riper nose reflects slightly phenolic nuanced aromas of olive oil, mineral reduction, citrus and plenty of classic Chablis character. There is fine richness to the round, rich and generously proportioned medium weight flavors that possess good dry extract before concluding in a sappy, bitter lemon and slightly rustic finish. This is firm enough to reward 5-ish years of cellaring.
