Vinous: 89-91 Points
The 2022 Meursault Village contains no new oak, as usual. The lively bouquet has enticing scents of dried honey, peppermint and orange pith. This just grows in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly viscous texture and fine acidity. It's quite spicy with a dash of stem ginger towards the persistent finish. Very promising.
Burghound: 89 Points
A slightly riper and more complex nose features notes of hazelnut, acacia blossom, lemon zest and various white orchard fruit. The caressing but nicely punchy medium-bodied flavors display the same fine complexity as the nose on the firm, balanced and refreshingly dry finale. This is a lovely Meursault villages and worth a look.
