A wonderfully fragrant and even spicier nose offers up its array of jasmine tea, rose petal, violet and mix of red and dark cherry scents. The velvet textured and highly seductive medium weight flavors that are not super-dense yet still convey a sense of volume that carries over the beautifully complex, balanced and sneaky long finish. This is consistently the domaine's finest villages wine and that is likely to be the case again. Recommended.

The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas has quite a compact, detailed nose with blackberry and raspberry fruit mixed with light fig and date scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry, smooth and tender with pliant tannins and an almost creamy finish. Will be a short-to mid-term crowd-pleaser
