Domaine Sylvain Dussort Description
This is the flagship wine of the Domaine. The Bourgogne is entirely sourced from four parcels in Meursault: En l’Ormeau, les Pellans, les Malpoiriers, les Dressolles totalling 3ha. Vines are from 35-60 years of age.
This wine has similar characteristics to its “big brother”, the Meursault. Delicate, rich and elegant, with good length.
Wine Pairing: It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, and goes well with fish and meats in white sauce.
Vinous: 88 Points
There is 50% less of the 2021 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Cuvée des Ormes this year. It has a bright bouquet with subtle dried flower scents percolating through the citrus fruit, with hints of peach skin emerging with time. The palate is well-balanced with a silver bead of acidity, quite tensile with a very subtle pepperiness. There's a nice build in this Bourgogne Côte d'Or that feels persistent on the finish. Very fine.
