Domaine Morey-Coffinet Description
From a 0.96 hectare parcel in the village of Chassagne, both the Santenay and Puligny sides, planted in 1988, 2001, and 2012. For the two sites: deep, compact clay on the Santenay side, the other near Puligny is fine with 20% limestone

The 2022 Bourgogne Côte d'Or has a lively, complex, impressive nose of orange blossom mixed with quince. It's quite mineral-driven, and if I had this blind, I'd swear it was Premier Cru The palate brings you down to earth, but only slightly, with a delicious creamy texture, quince and pineapple notes and a dab of ginger on the finish. Excellent.
