Domaine Mee Godard Description
The Corcelette vineyard is on south-east-facing granite slopes from two vineyards called Bellevue and Montillet. The vines, an average of 70 years old, are planted very densely at 11,000 vines/ha (4,500 vines/acre) and gobelet trained.
Vinous: 92 Points
The 2021 Morgon Corcelette, a blend of four parcels, has a lovely nose with more red fruit than the Au Michelon: raspberry, touches of mulberry, and light iris flower scents in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, lightly spiced. It is quite linear and strict with a fresh saline finish. Harmonious and pure, just a delightful Morgon from Godard.
