Sauzet's 2022 Bourgogne Blanc bursts with aromas of pear, white flowers and toasted nuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and saline palate that's fleshy but vibrant.
It's based on domaine fruit, complemented by some 15% that's bought in.
Burghound: 87 Points
Aromas of petrol, lemon zest and various white orchard fruit lead to beautifully textured if not especially dense flavors that possess good cut and punch on the nicely persistent finale. Worth considering.
Vinous: 84-86 Points
The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc, aged in one foudre and 10 barrels, has an attractive, lilting bouquet with red apple and light pear scents. The palate is slightly bitter on the entry, with modest depth, and just a little short on the finish at the moment.
