Wine Advocate: 92 Points
2017 was a very challenging year that only delivered around 30% of a normal crop, but they consider the quality to be exceptional and produced a 2017 Reserva with the usual grape breakdown—mostly Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha with 2% Viura. It has a moderate 13.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.72, and it matured in well-seasoned, neutral oak barrels (70% of them made with American oak) for 35 months. Despite everything, this seems to be a minor vintage, and the wine is evolving at a faster pace. It's a bit dusty and more evolved, and there's more impact from the oak, with chocolate notes, abundant, grainy tannins and more polished fruit. 6,000 bottles were filled in June 2021. -Luis Gutiérrez
