The 2022 Pinot Noir VGR comes from grapes harvested September 9–17. It fermented and matured in 11% new oak, concrete and amphorae. It opens with very pretty strawberry jam and Italian plum aromas accented by wafts of tangerine peel, bitters and floral perfume. The light-bodied palate is finely astringent, with taut acidity lending focus to its perfumed fruit, and it has a long, layered finish. With its freshness and floral character, it drinks beautifully straight from the bottle.
