Enjoy a Right Bank Bordeaux!

 The Bordeaux region is split into two by the Gironde River. The region boasts different characteristics based on which side (Left or Right) of the bank the vineyards lie. The Right Bank wines will usually be made predominantly with Merlot or Cabernet Franc. The clay based soils of the Right Bank favor these earlier ripening varieties. Wines of the Right Bank tend to have more restrained tannins and are sometimes more plush than Left Bank Bordeaux wines. Check out three of the producers we carry from the Right Bank below.
