Try White Wines from Bordeaux!

Yes that's right - a white. We're all familiar with the great red wines from Bordeaux, but have you heard of the whites? Many haven't, but they're missing out. Like the very popular wines of Sancerre, white Bordeaux are made with the Sauvignon Blanc grape, but they will typically add layers of flavor and richness by blending in Semillion and sometimes Muscadelle. The result is a full bodied white that tastes light! It is a wine that can be paired with almost any food from Filet Mignon to Gulf Red Snapper so if you're serving beef and your guests only drink white, serve with a white Bordeaux.
