Offers for the 2023 Vintage Campaign have begun! 2023 Bordeaux Futures Offer #4 This is a pretty substantial offer, but it's going to be a short post. While the store was fine with the weather yesterday, like many of you, I have a bit of a mess to clean up at home and am running a little bit behind.
The highlights today include both the Red and White from Cos d'Estournel. (Both at $174.38, Red 95-96 RP, White 90-92 RP). There are plenty of others out there as well, including D'Issan, which looks to be a fantastic value again this year. Here are the notes from Robert Parker: The 2023 D'Issan shows excellent potential, unfurling in the glass with aromas of dark berries, cassis, pen ink and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping palate that's rich, fleshy and charming, with lively acids, good depth at the core and a long, sapid finish. It's a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. ($58.54, 93-95 RP)
